This is how to choose the right microphone, speakers and camera in Zoom and Slack.
Zoom
In the Zoom app, click the gear (Settings) in the top right.
Under Audio, choose speaker and microphone and check them with Test speaker and Test mic.
Under Video, choose the camera.
During a meeting: Click the small arrow next to Mute or Stop video and switch the device.
Slack
In Slack, click your profile picture › Preferences.
Open Audio & video.
Choose camera, microphone and speakers.
During a huddle: Click … or the gear in the huddle and switch the device.
Allow access
Windows: Open Settings › Privacy & security › Microphone or Camera and allow access for desktop apps.
Mac: Open System Settings › Privacy & Security › Microphone or Camera and allow Zoom or Slack. Then restart the app.
Note: Camera and microphone can only be used by one program at a time. So don't use Teams, Zoom and Slack in meetings at the same time.
