Submit a support request – what belongs in a ticket

The more complete a request is, the faster it-tects can help. Follow-up questions cost time on both sides.

How to reach support

  • By email to support@it-tects.at. This automatically creates a ticket. For everything that doesn't need immediate attention.

  • By phone at +43 1 890 37 35 if you can't work at all. For emergencies, see “Emergency support – when and how”.

What belongs in the request

  1. A meaningful subject, e.g. “Outlook won't start” instead of “Problem”.

  2. Name, company and callback number.

  3. Affected device or program, e.g. laptop, Outlook, printer on the 2nd floor.

  4. What exactly happens: the error message word for word or as a screenshot.

  5. Since when and whether anything changed before, e.g. an update or a new device.

  6. Who is affected: just one person or several.

  7. How urgent: can't work, can work with limitations, or just a request.

Tip: One ticket per topic. To answer questions from it-tects, simply reply and keep the ticket number in the subject instead of writing a new email.

Important: Never put passwords in a ticket. Use “Share and receive passwords securely – Password Pusher” instead.
