This is how to switch Windows Home to Windows Pro, e.g. so the device can be added to company management. You need the Pro product key provided by it-tects.
Steps
Press Windows key + I, type Activation in the search box and open Activation settings.
Disconnect from the internet: unplug the network cable or turn off Wi-Fi in the taskbar.
Click Change product key and enter this generic key: VK7JG-NPHTM-C97JM-9MPGT-3V66T
The switch takes a few minutes. If an error message appears, continue with Next.
Restart the computer.
Reconnect to the internet and open Activation settings again.
Check that the edition shows Windows Pro.
Click Change product key and enter the product key from it-tects.
Note: The generic key only switches the edition. Windows is activated only with your own product key.
