Sophos Settings Ventura/Sonoma/Sequoia - English

  1. Click on the Apple symbol in the top left -> System Preferences.
  2. Scroll down until you find the "Privacy & Security" menu and click on it.
  3. Under Security, click on "Details" next to "Some system software requires your attention before it can be used."
  4. Enter your Mac password.
  5. Enable the software that has "Sophos" in its name (Sophos Network Extension & SophosScanD) and click "OK."
  6. If a pop-up appears after activation, allow it.
  7. Click on the Sophos icon in the top right of the menu bar.
  8. Click on "Open Sophos Endpoint..." and then click on "About" in the bottom right corner.
  9. If an update is pending, click on "Update Now."
  10. Click on "Run Diagnostic Tool," then on "Prerequisites," and then on "Allow Full Disk Access."
  11. Click on the blue text in the first point in the window that pops up.
  12. Drag the Sophos icon into the list of applications.
  13. In Finder, click "Go" and navigate to this path: /Library/Sophos Anti-Virus/
  14. Search for SophosUpdater.app, drag it into the Full Disk Access list, and enable it.
  15. If a pop-up appears, click on "Quit & Reopen."
  16. Close all programs and restart the computer.
