- Click on the Apple symbol in the top left -> System Preferences.
- Scroll down until you find the "Privacy & Security" menu and click on it.
- Under Security, click on "Details"
next to "Some system software requires your attention before it can be
used."
- Enter your Mac password.
- Enable the software that has "Sophos"
in its name (Sophos Network Extension & SophosScanD) and click
"OK."
- If a pop-up appears after activation, allow it.
- Click on the Sophos icon in the top right of the
menu bar.
- Click on "Open Sophos Endpoint..." and
then click on "About" in the bottom right corner.
- If an update is pending, click on "Update Now."
- Click
on "Run Diagnostic Tool," then on "Prerequisites," and then
on "Allow Full Disk Access."
- Click
on the blue text in the first point in the window that pops up.
- Drag
the Sophos icon into the list of applications.
- In Finder, click "Go" and navigate to this path: /Library/Sophos Anti-Virus/
- Search
for SophosUpdater.app, drag it into the Full Disk Access list, and enable it.
- If a pop-up appears, click on "Quit & Reopen."
- Close all programs and restart the computer.
