These macOS privacy features often cause problems with DNS, firewalls or monitoring on company networks. If needed, this is how to turn them off.
iCloud Private Relay
Open Apple menu › System Settings.
At the top, click your name (Apple Account) › iCloud.
Open Private Relay and turn it off.
Safari: Hide IP address
Open Safari and choose Safari › Settings in the menu bar.
Go to the Privacy tab.
Clear Hide IP address or set it to Off.
Private Wi-Fi address
Open System Settings › Wi-Fi.
Click Details next to the connected network.
Set Private Wi-Fi address to Off and confirm with OK.
Disconnect from the Wi-Fi briefly and reconnect.
Note: The private Wi-Fi address applies per network. The setting must be changed for each company Wi-Fi separately.
