The online archive is an additional mailbox for older emails. It frees up space in your main mailbox. Requirement: the archive is enabled for your account.
Find the archive
The archive appears in the folder list as a separate section below your mailbox, e.g. “Online Archive – Name” or “In-Place Archive”. It works like your normal mailbox: create folders, move and search emails.
Move emails to the archive
Manually: Drag and drop emails or folders into the archive.
Automatically: If an archive policy is active, older emails are moved automatically, e.g. after two years.
Search the archive
In the search bar at the top, set the search scope to All mailboxes or select the archive.
Note: The archive is only available online. It cannot be opened without an internet connection.
