If you are an owner of a distribution list, you can add and remove members yourself, without a ticket. it-tects decides who becomes an owner of a list.
Outlook on the web (recommended)
Open outlook.office.com and sign in with your company account.
Click People on the left.
Under Groups βΊ Owner or Owned, select the distribution list.
Click Edit members or Add members, search for people and add them. To remove someone, click Remove (X) next to the member.
Confirm with Save.
Outlook (classic)
In the ribbon, open Home βΊ Address Book.
Find the distribution list and double-click it.
Click Modify Members β¦.
Use Add or Remove to adjust the members and confirm with OK.
New Outlook currently lacks this feature. Use Outlook on the web instead.
Important β external people and guests: Only people in the address book can be added. it-tects first creates external addresses as contacts. External contacts and guests then receive every email sent to the list, including internal ones. Before adding them, check whether confidential information is sent via the list, and remove external people once the collaboration ends.
Note: Changes take effect immediately. In classic Outlook, the member list display can be delayed by up to a day. In companies with their own server, distribution lists may only be changed by it-tects.
